How to View Stereograms?

1.Hold the picture up to your nose and relax your focus.

2.Your eyes should be focused afar. Do not try to focus on the picture.

3.Slowly pull the picture away from your face, while still maintaining a distant focus.

4.Allow the picture to come into focus.

5.Repeat 1-4 until this works.

1.To practice keeping your eyes focused far away, hold the picture in front of one eye while the other eye holds the focus on distant objects in the room.

2.The key is to keep your eyes relaxed. Relaxed eyes will come into position such that.

3.You are not technically crossing your eyes to view the picture, but forcing them to view two different pictures, due to the spacing of the pattern in the stereogram.

4.A small segment of the population does not have stereovision, and will not ever be able to view stereograms.

5.It often takes several tries to get it (perhaps 30 minutes or more!), but once you see your first one, the others will come easier!

6.If you get good enough, you don't even have to move the picture or your face, you can just cross your eyes correctly and it will appear.

7.If you feel your eyes manually focusing, start over at step 1.

Do not give in to your eyes. Let the picture come to you!

Now Try your best to enter the amazing 3D world!!!!

Did you even bother testing your app?

A 3D stereogram must be viewed from a horizontal perspective in order for the effect to work. Your app displays the images in a vertical perspective, and when you rotate your device to correct this, the app auto-rotates the image back to vertical. Unless one wants to move their body to view the image from the proper perspective, this app is useless. Not even worth the price of free.

I remember looking at the books with these in them when I was younger. Cool images although it would be nice if it told you what each one was as it is hard to make out what some of them are supposed to be. Also just a tip, but you only have to focus your eyes once and then just keep hitting the next button. Faster than having to focus your eyes for each picture.

This is pretty cool for being free. It took me about 5 mins to finally see the first one. After that, the others were pretty easy. Orientation - You have to lock your screen so you can turn the phone to landscape make it work. If not, it just keeps going back to portrait, which is not correct. Hint... The first image says "3D"...
